WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University’s sophomore javelin thrower, Stephanie McFadries (Burlington, Mass.) was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women’s outdoor field athlete of the week, as announced by the conference Monday (Apr. 17) afternoon.

McFadries helped her team to a first place finish this past weekend at the Eric Loeshner Invitational, as she won the javelin throw competition with a top throw of 41.20m. With this result, McFadries currently stand at 10^th place on the NCAA Division III national list.

This is McFadries’ second time earning this accolade thus far this spring season.
