Michaila Parent Named a Longstreth NFHCA Weekly Honorable Mention

GILBERT, Ariz. - After a stellar 12-point week to lead the Lancers to a pair of wins, Worcester State University senior Michaila Parent (Westborough, Mass.) has been named a Longstreth National Field Hockey Coaches Association Honorable Mention.

Parent recorded four goals and four assists last week. Her fourth goal of the weekend made Parent just the second player in Worcester State field hockey program history to record 100 points, and now sitting at 102 points, she is just one point away from tying the all-time program record of 103.

The national recognition comes on the heels of a Little East Conference nod, as the senior was named the conference's Player of the Week on Monday.

Parent and the Lancers will be back in action on Thursday evening as Worcester State travels to WPI for a matchup with the Engineers at 7 p.m.
