WORCESTER, Mass. – Due to snow on the fields, changes have been made to Worcester State University's baseball, softball, and women's lacrosse schedules for the week of Mar. 25-31.
BASEBALL
Worcester State's Tuesday (Mar. 27) baseball game against Rhode Island College has been moved to the New England Baseball Complex (NEBC) in Northboro, Mass. and will be played at 6 p.m., rather than the 3 p.m. Later in the week, Worcester State will open up conference play on Friday (Mar. 30) at NEBC in a doubleheader against Westfield State, starting at 9:45 a.m. Saturday's game against Nichols remains at 11 a.m. at NEBC.
SOFTBALL
Worcester State University's softball doubleheader against UMass Dartmouth on Wednesday (Mar. 28) has been postponed. The conference opener, scheduled for Friday (Mar. 30), has been moved to Westfield State and will begin at 2 p.m.
WOMEN'S LACROSSE
The Worcester State University women's lacrosse home opener is scheduled for Thursday (Mar. 29) at Coughlin Field. The time has moved up from 7 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Lancers will resume play at Coughlin Field on Saturday (Mar. 31) when they host Framingham State in the MASCAC opener at 12 noon.
