Jeanne Forget-Bombara '72
Title: Class of 1997

One of the pioneers of the Women's Sports program at Worcester State College, Jeanne Forget-Bombara '72 was multitalented. She played four sports, field hockey, volleyball, basketball and softball. She was a captain of the basketball team for three years and a captain of the softball team for two seasons and had a .364 career batting average and scored 334 career points in basketball. She was the team's most valuable player in 1969 in basketball.

She was named Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities and was vice president of both the Athletic Recreation Association and the Women's Athletic Association and a voting member of the Athletic Council at Worcester State College.

She has coached basketball at Millbury and Nipmuck Regional High Schools and is currently the coach of the junior high team at Our Lady of the Valley School in Uxbridge. Jeanne Forget-Bombara is currently employed as a guidance counselor/teacher at Our Lady of the Valley School in Uxbridge.
