Jessica (Murphy) Jenkins '93
Title: Class of 2000

Jessica was an outstanding three sports star at Worcester State College and played in more games than any women in Lancer history. She played basketball, field hockey and softball and wore the blue and gold colors an amazing 262 times.

She was a captain of all three teams. She scored 420 points in basketball and had 383 assists in 105 games. She played 58 field hockey games and 99 softball games.

In softball she played every position, except first base and was named to the Massachusetts State College All Star team and was also selected a 1993 ECAC Division ill New England All Star as a second baseman.

She was named the Outstanding Freshman Athlete of the Year and was named the Co-Female Athlete of the Year as a senior. In 1993, she was named the Worcester State NCAA Woman of the Year. She was an honor roll student for four years.

In 1996 Jessica was inducted into the Hopkinton High Athletic Hall of Fame, For the past seven years, she had been the varsity field hockey coach at Hopkinton competing in two state tournaments. She was an Assistant Basketball Coach at Medfield High for three years.

She works in the accounting department at Kangaroo Crossing.
