Sean Mahoney '98
Title: Class of 2018
Sean Mahoney ’98 was captain of the Worcester State Club Football Team in 1984 and 1985 and was named to the All-Conference team in 1984. He led the Lancers to a 24-3 record as quarterback, including two undefeated seasons and two appearances in national championship games (a loss in 1983 and a win in 1984). At the time, he held the record for the highest quarterback passing percentage record: .580; currently he stands fourth in the record books. 
 
Sean also played baseball for two years, serving as captain in 1986. After graduation, he was an assistant football coach for Worcester State and head football coach for Assumption College, Shrewsbury High School, and Marlborough High School.
