The Athletic Hall of Fame Committee and the Office of Alumni are currently accepting nominations for inductees to the Worcester State University Athletic Hall of Fame.

Nominees must qualify in one of the following three categories:
Alumni of the University – (Up to Five) Any alumna or alumnus who actively participated in athletics and brought recognition and honor to Worcester State through their outstanding achievements while a student-athelete. In order to be eligible for this award, five years must have passed since the alumna or alumnus's time of graduation.
Varsity Team Varsity Team Awards – (One) Any team that has won a NCAA/ NCAA Regional or ECAC Championship. Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) wins are not eligible as a sole contribution. The single exception shall involve New England State College Regional Conference Championships won prior to 1970. The team must have competed at least ten (10) years prior to the induction dinner at which they will be honored.
Honorary Inductee – (One) An Honorary Inductee may be an individual who may or may not possess a degree from Worcester State University. An individual who has demonstrated outstanding commitment and length of service as a contributor to athletics/sports through coaching, clinics, writing, organizations, support of Worcester State athletics, as an administrator, in volunteer work, or achievement in professional athletics or international sport organizations.

Please include supportive information such as statistics and links to backup documentation. Deadline for nominations is Friday, May 22, 2015.
It is required that you include a brief summary of the candidate's qualifications to support each nomination. The Athletic Hall of Fame Committee reserves the right to make its own independent inquiry, and selects the inductees(s).
