Assistant Coach of Men’s Track & Field
Job Summary:
Track & field experience with the long jump and triple jump as an athlete or coach is required. Additional experience with the sprints and/or other events is preferred. The successful candidate will assist with all facets of a Division III track & field program and will directly oversee the coaching of the horizontal jumps and assist with the sprints. He/she will also have other responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach of Track & Field.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
The Assistant Coach will develop and implement daily practice sessions and oversee competition in the assigned events; care for the overall development and well-being of student-athletes; adhere to all College, MASCAC and NCAA regulations and represent the institution with the highest professionalism; assist with recruiting; assist with home event management; assist with team travel; and complete other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and prior experience with intercollegiate athletics as an athlete or coach required. Must be a team player and have strong interpersonal skills in dealing with current and recruited collegiate athletes.
