LEC 2016 Fall All-Academic Release
WORCESTER, Mass. – Eight Worcester State University student-athletes from the field hockey and women’s tennis teams have been named to the 2016 Fall All-Academic teams, as announced by the Little East Conference (LEC) this afternoon.
To be named to the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of a 3.30 or higher through the spring 2016 semester and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, following the 2015-16 season. The student-athlete must also be a full-time member of a varsity sport and be enrolled in its institution for a full academic year.

The LEC honored 280 student-athletes in its seven fall championship sports: men’s cross country, women’s cross country, field hockey, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, women’s tennis and women’s volleyball.
