    Worcester, MA --- Junior Nick Gezotis, sophomore Dan Ubele and freshman Cody Osburn have all been tabbed to the Second Annual Worcester Area Baseball All-Star Team in a vote by the cities sports information directors. All three were tabbed with second-team accolades.

    Chester, NY --- The Worcester State baseball team dropped their first two games of the season in a pair of nine-inning double-headers against SUNY Purchase yesterday afternoon at Rock Sports Park. The Lancers were defeated 12-4 in the opener before the Panthers edged WSU, 14-13, in 11 innings in the nightcap.
