Breton Earns MASCAC Baseball Rookie of the Week Award

WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State's rookie, Jake Breton (Wilbraham, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) baseball rookie of the week, as announced by the MASCAC this afternoon (Mar. 26).

 

Breton batted .467 (7-15) with a double, two RBI, four runs scored and two walks with a .556 on base percentage in four games for the Lancers. He went 3-for-4 with two walks and three runs scored in the 18-8 win over Bard College. He then went 3-for-4 with a double, a RBI, and run scored in the 12-8 win over St. Olaf College.

 

The baseball team resumes play tomorrow (Mar. 27) against Rhode Island College at the New England Baseball Complex (NEBC) in Northboro, Mass. at 6 p.m.
