Kregg Fritze joined the Worcester State University baseball program in the fall of 2017 as an assistant coach alongside head coach Dr. Dirk Baker.
Fritze brings a high level intensity coaching style and high expectations for players to the field.
He has been coaching for the past 16 years. Fritze was the assistant coach at David Prouty High School in his hometown from 2012-2014. He was then promoted to Head Coach in 2015, where he stayed for two years.
More recently, Fritze has coached a Senior Ruth team (2015-2016), as well as a Legion team (2017).
Fritze resides in Spencer, Massachusetts with his wife, Tessa. They have four children, all boys, who are also avid baseball players. He has been self-employed in the construction business for over 23 years.
