After two years as the Interim Head Coach, Adam Peloquin '12 was hired as the Full Time Head Coach of the Worcester State University football team on December 8th, 2021.

Peloquin has been with the program since 2011, and had completed his second year as Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks coach when he was given the full time head coaching role.

He was named the interim head coach of the Worcester State University football team at the conclusion of the 2019 season after legendary head coach Brien Cullen announced his retirement. He guided the Lancers through a difficult time when the 2020 season was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and then guided Worcester State to three victories, all of them against MASCAC opposition, in the 2021 season.

Peloquin served as associate head coach of the Lancers from 2015 after serving as an assistant four seasons prior. His duties as associate head coach included day-to-day operations, coordinating travel, recruiting, budgeting, game planning, and academic advising.

Peloquin enters his second year as the Offensive Coordinator. Last season, he helped the offense set program records for passing yardage, completions, and first downs. He guided three players to All-MASCAC honors, one All-New England, one All-East Region, and one All-American. In previous seasons, Peloquin coached the offensive line and helped set the single season rush record in 2014 and career rush record in 2015.

In addition to the Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line positions, Peloquin has also acted as the Special Team’s Coordinator and Director of Football Operations in his tenure with Worcester State.

Prior to his coaching stint, Peloquin was a three-year starter as an offensive guard for Worcester State. He was distinguished in his senior year with All-NEFC Bogan Division and All-Worcester Area First-team accolades while he also was a recipient of the Male "Peg Nugent" Award for his efforts on the field and classroom.

In his final semester, Coach Peloquin helped his offensive line unit post the second highest scoring average, total offense, and rushing yardage average in the NEFC. The front five also allowed just 10 sacks in 10 regular season games.

Peloquin also serves as the athletic department’s contest coordinator, in which he assists with game day management, scheduling of athletic contests, and team travel.
