Will Croom joins the Worcester State University football staff as a wide receivers coach in the fall of 2016 after serving as a personal trainer, football coach, and athletic administrator.

Croom currently holds the position as the Athletic Director for Chelmsford Pop Warner Football where he is responsible for the league’s organization and scheduling while also building relationships with the stakeholders of the league including the community and local businesses. He also acts as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for Billerica Memorial High School where he trains high school athletes during season and off season.

Croom’s recent accomplishments include starting his business of 1^st String Performance Football and Skill Development. There, he provides small group and one-on-one training for athletes through year-round skill development programs, in turn, helping numerous athletes earn football scholarships to universities. In addition to this, he founded the Mass Elite 7v7 High School travel team where he connects promising high school football prospects within his vast national network of college scouting, national recruiting services and college coaches.

Croom played football for the University of West Georgia and received his degree in Marketing Business Administration. Following his collegiate playing career, Croom signed a contract with the New England Surge Arena Football Franchise before taking on his 10-year personal training stint. As a personal trainer, Croom worked at several exclusive area clubs and facilities.
