WORCESTER, Mass. – Freshman field hockey forward, Olivia Antonelli (Westford, Mass.) has been tabbed the Little East Conference (LEC) Rookie of the week for the week of Sep. 26-Oct. 2 as announced by the conference on Monday (Oct. 3). This is Antonelli's third time receiving this award thus far this season.

Antonelli totaled eight points in the Lancers' 2-0 week of conference play. She marked the game-winning goal and assisted the other in the Blue and Gold's 2-1 win over Bridgewater State. She then notched two goals and one assist in the 4-3 win over Plymouth State.

Antonelli and teammate Michaila Parent (Westborough, Mass.) are currently leading the team with nine goals apiece. She also leads the team in shots (36) and shots on goal (27).

This week the field hockey team hosts cross-town foes Clark University on Thursday (Oct. 6) and then host Fitchburg State in a LEC matchup on Saturday (Oct. 8) at 10 a.m.
