WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester State University field hockey team has been selected to finish in the top spot in the Little East Conference (LEC) Preseason Poll, as voted on by the 13 head coaches.
The Lancers earned 138 points including 7 first place votes.
Last season, the team the Lancers won the Little East Conference regular season title posting a 10-1 conference record. The Lancers fell in the semifinals of the LEC tournament.
The field hockey team opens up their season on Friday, August 31 when they host Babson for a 12 noon game.
