FRAMINGHAM, Mass.- Worcester State University's senior center Paul Brooks (Arlington, Mass.) scored his 1,000th career point in the Lancers' 59-55 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) win over Framingham State on Saturday.

The back-and-forth play continued into the second half but the Rams were able to build their lead up to nine, 44-35 on one of Gould's five treys just around halfway through the period. The Lancers then fought back eventually tying the contest at 50-50 on a three-pointer by DiBernardo with just under five minutes to play.

After trading baskets a Daniel Gould (Quincy, Mass.) triple gave the Rams a three point lead but once again the Lancers responded. Anniballi hit a layup and three-pointer on consecutive possessions to go ahead 57-55 with just over 30 second to play. The Lancers made 3-of-4 of their shots from the stripe in the final minute to seal the victory.
