Men's Basketball to Host Clark for Midnight Madness on Nov. 8

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester State University Athletic Department is pleased to announce that the Lancer men's basketball program will be hosting a Midnight Madness game in the early morning hours of Thursday, November 8.

Tip-off is set for 12:01 a.m. as the Lancers take on Clark University for the third consecutive year at Midnight Madness.

By rule, November 8 is the first day that NCAA basketball teams can schedule regular season games, giving Worcester State University the opportunity to host one of the first men's basketball games in the nation.

The festivities will begin at 11 p.m. on November 7, with a Fan Fest scheduled for the Wellness Center's multi-purpose gymnasium. Fan Fest will include food, music, tables from a handful of Worcester State's student organizations, and free Midnight Madness t-shirts.

You will not want to leave your seat at halftime that evening, as the 2018-19 Worcester State University women's basketball team will be introduced to the crowd. The Worcester State University Dance Team is also slated to perform at the intermission.

If you can't make it to John P. Brissette Court for this one-of-a-kind event, you can catch a full live broadcast of the game on WSULancers.com starting at 12:01 a.m.

Be sure to follow the Worcester State Lancers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to keep up to date with all the action from Brissette Court before, during, and after Midnight Madness.
