Dunham Finishes Inside Top 20 At Trinity Invitational

 

Farmington, CT --- Junior Bryan Dunham (Tolland, CT) fired an 82 (+10) on the first day of the Trinity Invitational at the Par 72 Tuxnis Plantation Golf Course to help lead the Worcester State men's golf team to ninth place overall this afternoon.

The Lancers are just 29 strokes off of the hosting Bantams who have a team score of 312. Dunham finished inside the top 20 as he is just 10 strokes off of leader graduate student Kyle DeFranco (E. Longmeadow, MA) of Springfield.

Other finishers for WSU include freshman Patrick Sharron (Boylston, MA) who tied for 30th (85; +13) while junior David Rixham (Northbridge, MA) and first-year Steven Ferraro (Leicester, MA) both equaled 36th (87; +15).  

Sophomore Brendan Dugan (Sutton, MA) wrapped up the first day with a score of 92 (+20) for 42nd place.

The final day of competition at the Trinity Invitational concludes tomorrow at Tuxnis Plantation.
