Westfield, MA --- Junior David Rixham (Northbridge, MA) and classmate Bryan Dunham (Tolland, CT) both carded an 82 (+11) to tie for 13th place to help propel the Worcester State men's golf team to finish fourth overall out of seven teams at the Westfield State Invitational held at the par 71 Tekoa Invitational this afternoon.

The hosting Owls "White" team (303) edged out Rhode Island College (305) by two strokes while the Lancers were 36 strokes off the lead with a final tally of 339 and just five points off third place.

Sophomore Matt Collamer (Dracut, MA) fired an 87 (+16) to equal 21st followed by freshman Brett Tetreault (Webster, MA) knotted 23rd with an 88 (+17).

First-year Steven Ferraro (Leicester, MA) wasn't too far behind with a score of 89 (+18) to tie for 26th and pace the remainder of the field for WSU.

The Blue and Gold return to action next Wednesday when they head to the Elms Fall Blazer Invitational.
