N. Dartmouth, MA --- Junior Jackson Davis (Spencer, MA) tied for sixth to place among the top ten as he helped propel the Worcester State men's golf team at the Westport Hampton Inn UMass Dartmouth Invitational.

The Lancers equaled Husson with 663 strokes (+87), which was just 18 off of Rhode Island College who maintained their advantage to take home the team trophy.

Davis shot a two-day sum of 157 (+13), which was just seven shy of Greg Martin of Husson, who earned medalist honors.

Sophomore Patrick Sharron (Boylston, MA) and classmate Steven Ferraro (Leicester, MA) equaled 39th place (171, +27) followed by senior David Rixham (Northbridge, MA) who shaved six strokes off his score to place 43rd (172, +28).

Freshman Quinn Indio (Acushnet, MA) tied for 51st with a 174 (+30).
