Westfield, MA --- Senior David Rixham (Northbridge, MA) fired a 79 (+8) to tie for 15th to help pace the Worcester State men's golf team at the Westfield State Invitational this afternoon at the par 71 Tekoa Country Club.
The foursome that represented the Blue and Gold collectively shot a 347 which was good for 10th place as the suqad was 45 strokes off Castleton State, who took home the team trophy.
Sophomore Anthony Bement (Attleboro, MA) was two strokes off Rixham, tying for 20th (81, +10) as senior Bryan Dunham (Tolland, CT) placed 51st (92, +19) and sophomore Brett Tetreault (Webster, MA) equaled 54th (95; +24).
The Lancers will compete again next Wednesday at the Emmanuel Quadrangle Invitational at Franklin Park.
