NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The Worcester State University men's golf team held steady in 14th place after the final round of the UMass Dartmouth Lafrance Hospitality Invitational Saturday afternoon at Allendale Country Club.
Freshman Jake Poitras (Harwich, Mass.) and junior Zack Grenon (Uxbridge, Mass.) shared Worcester State's low round on the afternoon, shooting identical scores of 82. Junior Connor Anderson (Raynham, Mass.) shaved a stroke off his score from round one with an 83 on Saturday.
Junior Brian Poillucci (North Attleboro, Mass.) shot an 87 on the day, while classmate Mike Manning (Bridgewater, Mass.) rounded out the Lancer scorers with a 93.
Worcester State will close out its 2018-19 season on Tuesday at the Westfield State Invitational. The team is slated to tee off from Tekoa Country Club at 10 a.m.
