WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University's freshman forward Tim Drevitch (Oxford, N.J.) has earned his second Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) men's ice hockey rookie of the week award for his performance in the Lancers' 4-3 setback to Plymouth State on Saturday.

In the Plymouth State game, Drevitch scored two goals and assisted another. He scored a shorthanded goal in the first period to even the score at 1-1, and then gave the Lancers a 2-1 lead in the second period. He assisted the Lancers' third and final goal late in the third period to move them within one.

Drevitch was also named the MASCAC men's ice hockey rookie of the week on Nov. 13 for scoring two goals and assisting two in a 2-0 week for the Blue and Gold.

The men's ice hockey team is back in action this Thursday (Jan. 11) as they travel to Framingham State for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop.
