Drevitch Earns MASCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week Honors

WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University's freshman forward Tim Drevitch (Oxford, N.J.) has been named the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) men's ice hockey rookie of the week, as announced by the league on Monday (Nov. 13) afternoon.

 

This past week, Drevitch totaled two goals and two assists in a 2-0 week for the Lancers. He tallied a goal and an assist in the 7-1 win over Framingham State and recorded another goal and an assist in the 4-0 shutout over Salem State.

 

"Tim has adjusted very quickly to the pace of college hockey," commented head coach Shayne Toporowski. "The coaching staff looks forward to working with Tim and his continued growth. Congrats to Tim on this award and we look forward to your continued success."

 

The men's ice hockey team's next contest is scheduled for Saturday (Nov. 18) against Westfield State at the Amelia Park Rink in Westfield, Mass.
