Men's Ice Hockey Versus Framingham State Suspended Due to Unsafe Conditions

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. - Due to an ice issue at Loring Arena on Saturday evening, the Worcester State University men's ice hockey game against Framingham State was suspended with 4:20 remaining in the first period.

The teams originally went to an early first intermission as the ice was repaired, but when the teams emerged from the locker rooms, the game was suspended.

The game was tied at 1-1 at the time of the stoppage. CJ Buckingham (Pembroke, Mass.) had the Lancer goal, with assists from freshman Zac McKenna (Powell, Ohio) and sophomore Jake Karelas (Melrose, Mass.).

A makeup date for the completion of the contest is to be determined.
