Jim Harrity came aboard as an assistant coach for the Worcester State ice hockey team in 2012.

Coach Harrity played high school at St. Johns, played for the New England Junior Hockey League afterwards. He also played forward at Worcester State and he was a captain in his junior year.

Coach Harrity is currently serving as the Vice President of the Pond Club, the fundraising arm of the UMass Amherst Ice Hockey program. He earned his BS in Management in 1982, a MS in Non-Profit Management from Worcester State in 2012 and he also holds his Doctorate in Education from UMass Amherst, which he received in 2005.

Coach Harrity lives in Northampton and is the President of Integral Builders.
