Brasil’s Four Goals Earns Him MASCAC Men’s Soccer Weekly Honors

WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University's junior forward, Bryan Brasil (Williamsburg, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) men's soccer player of the week, as announced by the conference Monday (Sep. 18) afternoon.

 

This past week, he totaled eight points on four goals in a 2-0 week for the Blue and Gold. He netted his third career hat-trick in the 3-2 double overtime win over Johnson State, and then tallied his fifth goal of the season in the Lancers' 2-0 shutout over MCLA on Friday (Sep. 15).

 

Brasil currently is third in the conference in goals (5), fourth in the conference in points (10) and fifth in the conference in shots (16).

 

This week the men's soccer team hosts UMass Boston and Fitchburg State on Wednesday (Sep. 20) and Saturday (Sep. 23), respectively.
