WESTFIELD, Mass. - Worcester State University sophomore men's soccer soccer player Laszlo Dorogi (West Boylston, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week. The announcement came from the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Dorogi had a massive day for the Lancers in a win over Becker College on Thursday, scoring two goals and three assists for seven points. He entered the game with no points on the season, but by the end of the game was tied for second on his team in points.
Dorogi is the first member of the Worcester State men's soccer team to receive a weekly award from the MASCAC this season.
The Lancers will be back in action on Wednesday night, hosting Elms College for a non-conference game at Coughlin Field.
