Lewis Named Division III New England High Jump Champion; Vieira and Ojukwu Also Earn DIII New England Honors

MIDDLEBURY, Vt.  – Worcester State University's sophomore Justin Lewis (Lynn, Mass.) was named the Division III New England high jump champion on Saturday as he earned the top spot with a height of 2.07m/6-09.50, leading the team to an 11th place finish of 28+ schools in attendance at the Division III New England Championships. Both Marcus Vieira (Peabody, Mass.) and John Ojukwu (Stow, Mass.) also earned All-New England honors.

Lewis led the team scoring with 10 points as he claimed the top spot in the high jump (2.07m/6-09.50). Vieria chalked up eight points for the Blue and Gold as she saw second place in the weight throw (18.47m/60-07.25). Ojukwu chipped in four points to total 22 points for 11th place at the event.
