Lewis’ First Place Finish at All-New England’s Lands Him MASCAC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week Honors

WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University sophomore Justin Lewis (Lynn, Mass.) jumper has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) men's indoor field athlete of the week following an outstanding performance in the high jump this weekend.

 

Lewis tied his indoor personal record of 2.14m (7-00.25) with a first place finish at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships and earned All-NEICAAA honors in the high jump.  

 

Lewis is currently first in Division III in the event.

 

The men's indoor track & field team will head to Providence, R.I. this weekend to compete in the MASCAC/Alliance Championships.
