WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University’s sophomore Justin Lewis (Lynn, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) men’s indoor field athlete of the week after earning the top spot in the high jump at the Division III New England Championships this past weekend.
Lewis was named the DIII New England high jump champion with a top height of 2.07m (6-09.50) for All-New England honors, leading the team to an 11th place finish of over 28 schools in attendance at the event.
The men’s indoor track & field team will resume competition this Sunday (Feb. 25) when they travel to the Boston University last chance meet.
