Dedham, MA --- Senior Matt Leeds popped a season-best leap of 6.84 meters to earn All-NEICAAA accolades with a fourth place finish as he helped lead the men's outdoor track and field team. Three-day event was held at Northeastern Universities Solomon Track featuring competition from Divisions I, II and III.
Amherst, MA --- Senior Mark Johnson earned honors in the javelin throw while freshman Mara Kralian eclipsed her own school record in the 100 meter dash as the Worcester State outdoor track and field teams competed yesterday on the first day of the All-New England Championships hosted by UMass-Amherst.
Springfield, MA --- Freshman Mara Kralian led the Lancers as she was named All-New England in three events as the womens outdoor track and field team tied for 16th with 13 points while the men were paced by senior Mark Johnson at the Division III Outdoor New England Championships on Saturday.
Worcester, MA --- This weekend both mens and womens outdoor track teams will compete at the New England Division III regionals hosted by Springfield College. The mens squad looks to build off of the indoor seasons 11th place finish while freshman Mara Kralian and the womens team hope to improve being tied for 18th in the indoor season.
Westfield, MA --- Freshman standout Ian Fields took home All-MASCAC honors in three events while anchoring two relay teams as the Mens Outdoor Track and Field team finished in fourth place with 70 points at the MASCAC Championships this past weekend. Johnson also earned all-conference accolades in three individual events as well.
New London, CT --- The Worcester State mens outdoor track team placed third overall with 76.50 points at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College. Coast Guard won the meet while UMass Dartmouth chipped in for second.
