Weeks Places 13th in Hammer Throw at NCAA Division III National Championships

GENEVA, Ohio – Worcester State University's Sam Weeks (Methuen, Mass.) placed 13th in the hammer throw on Saturday (May 27) as he threw for 53.49m at the NCAA Division III National Championships, held at the SPIRE Institute.

 

Weeks captured a personal record (PR) in the hammer throw just a week prior at the MIT Division III Final Qualifying Meet (56.47m), registering first place at that meet.

 

Weeks concludes his career at Worcester State as a two-time NCAA Division III National championships attendee, and an All-American in the discus throw.

 

The Lancers completed the NCAA Divison III National Championships tied at 20th place, as Weeks and Justin Lewis (Lynn, Mass.) scored at the meet.
