Men's Cross Country Places Sixth at the Worcester City Meet

 

Worcester, MA --- Junior Patrick Bova (Princeton, MA) finished 31st overall for Worcester State with a time of 29:57 as the Lancers finished in sixth place this morning in the Annual Worcester City Meet at Moore State Park.

The Blue and Gold tallied 147 points as WPI took home their 41st crown since 1967 with 30 points.

Senior Pat Daley (Millbury, MA) added 32nd place while junior classmates Adam Pepin (Paxton, MA) and Wesley Hebert (Leominster, MA) notched 48th (31:46) and 49th (31:51), respectively.

Freshman John Leary (Worcester, MA/South) rounded out the top runners for Worcester State as he turned in a time of 32:38, which was good for the 57th position.

WSU will next run at the Tri-State open hosted by the Community College of Rhode Island next Saturday.
