Men's Cross Country Takes Sixth Place At Tri-State Invitational

 

Lincoln, RI --- Senior Pat Daley (Millbury, MA) and junior Patrick Bova (Princeton, MA) recorded a pair of top 20 finishes to help lead the Worcester State men's cross country team to sixth place at the Tri-State Invitational this morning hosted by CCRI.

Wheaton won the 8k race with 32 points while the Lancers tallied 130 as a team to earn sixth out of 10 teams at the meet.

Daley was 13th overall with a time of 29:42 while Bova added 20th (30:08). Junior Adam Pepin (Paxton, MA) finished 28th out of 78 entrants as freshman John Leary (Worcester, MA/South) tallied 32nd place (31:29).

Sophomore Edwin Nash (Charlton, MA) rounded out the top five for the Blue and Gold with 43rd (32:25.96).

Worcester State will compete again next week at the James Early Invitational hosted by Westfield State at Stanley Park.
