Phillips Earns All-Conference Honors For Men's Cross Country At MASCAC Meet

 

Williamstown, MA --- Freshman Brady Phillips (Uxbridge, MA) notched sixth individually (27:25.25) as he helped lead the Worcester State men's cross country team to fourth place at the MASCAC Championships held at Mount Greylock's 8k course this morning.

Phillips also had the tenth best time in the New England Alliance as the Lancers finished seventh out of 15 squads competing.

Freshman Jason Bangs (Charlton, MA) registered 19th with a time of 29:00.90 followed by senior teammates Adam Pepin (Paxton, MA) and Wesley Hebert (Leominster, MA) along with freshman Devin Luce (Milford, MA), who added 27th (29:22.67), 29th (29:25.11) and 30th (29:25.11), respectively.

First-year Patrick Scheeler (Wakefield, MA) crossed the line in 32nd (29:37.22) and classmate Marques Johnson (W. Hartford, CT) rounded out the field with 46th (30:14.35).
