Worcester State opened the contest on a 15-0 run, and would never look back in the victory. The run began when senior Mya Mosley (Worcester, Mass.) hit a 3-pointer fifty seconds into the contest, and was capped by a lay-in by sophomore Sarah Blomgren (Lunenburg, Mass.). After one quarter, the Lancers held a 21-7 lead.

The Lancers ended the first half on a 14-0 run to take a commanding 39-11 lead into the half. Worcester State outscored the Lyons 18-4 in quarter number two.

The second half was a touch tighter than the first, but the damage was already done, from the first half. Worcester State outscored Mount Holyoke 26-11 in the half to close out the big victory.

Mosley was the game's leading scorer with 19 points on the evening. Off the bench, freshman Elizabeth Gallella (Tewksbury, Mass.) poured in 11 points with three rebounds and three steals in just 13 minutes of action. The Lancers held Mount Holyoke to just 18 percent shooting from the floor on the evening.
