Meaghan O'Keefe
Title: Assistant Coach

Meaghan O'Keefe begins her fifth season on the sidelines as an assistant coach at Worcester State following an outstanding career at her alma mater. In her short coaching career, Coach O’Keefe has proven invaluable to the development of the Lancer post players.

Coach O'Keefe was a four-year starter at center who earned MASCAC Player of the Year as a senior, after finishing with the most rebounds (12.6 RPG) and blocks (43) in the conference, while being third in scoring (15.8 PPG). She was also honored on the New England Women's Basketball Association Second-Team, and she was one of only two from the conference on the D3hoops.com All-Northeast Region Team.  Coach O'Keefe hung up her Lancer uniform just 36 points shy of 1,000 averaging 10.5 points in 92 games over her career. In addition, she holds the third most blocks in WSU program history (152) and the fourth-most rebounds (757).

In high school, Coach O'Keefe helped lead Quaboag High to four straight Central Massachusetts District Championship titles, with the Cougars winning the State Championship her freshmen year, and making it the state final game two additional times before she graduated.

Coach O’Keefe currently works as a special education teaching assistant with the Quaboag Public Schools.
