Deb Draper enters her sixth year at the helm of the Worcester State women's lacrosse program.
Draper assumed the position after a three-year stint on
Salisbury Street at Assumption College. In her first season as
coach the team finished with a 12-5 record and reached the ECAC
semifinals.
Prior to that, Draper was the coach of the WPI club team from 1989
through 2004. Draper has also coached with Boston Women’s
Lacrosse and New England Women’s Lacrosse. In 1991, she was
the coach of the USWLA Division II Divisional Champion.
Draper is a 1980 graduate of Bridgewater State University where
she was a four-year goalie on the lacrosse and field hockey teams.
Draper is an elementary physical education teacher and health
teacher in Berlin, MA.
Brian McDermott

Brian McDermott enters his first year as a women's lacrosse assistant coach.
Coach McDermott grew up playing lacrosse in Huntington, Long Island and he played collegiately at Colorado State and Texas A&M when Aggie Lacrosse was still part of the SouthWest Lacrosse Association from 1977 through 1983. While at A&M, Brian received MVP and Best Attack awards and became a member of the SWLA All-Star team.
Coach McDermott then moved to San Antonio to teach middle school
and played for the San Antonio Lacrosse Club. He returned to
Texas A&M University where he was a player coach and then
coached the TAMU team. Coach McDermott also played
briefly for the New Orleans Lacrosse Club.
Coach McDermott is currently is employed by the Millbury
Public Schools and resides in Clinton, MA.
