Cape Cod, MA --- Senior classmates Nikki Scott and Danielle Clifford have each been tabbed to the New England Intercollegiate Women’s Soccer Association (NEWISA) All-New England team while Scott has been selected as an ECAC Division III New England All-Star. Both were the only representatives on each team from the MASCAC.
Worcester, MA --- Worcester State women’s soccer student-athlete Nikki Scott has been selected as a Capital One Division III Academic Third-Team All-American by the College Sports Information Directors of America (Co-SIDA). Scott's academic honor is the first for a WSU student-athlete since 2002.

North Dartmouth, MA --- Junior Courtney Pellon notched the game-clininching goal in the 102nd minute of the second overtime to help lead Worcester State to a 1-0 victory over UMass Dartmouth. Pellon recieved an assist on the play from classmate Sarina Lathrop.
Worcester, MA --- Salem State scored a goal off of a free-kick in the 53rd minute to defeat Worcester State, 1-0, in MASCAC women's soccer action at Coughlin Field. The Lancers honored their senior players who participated in their final regular season home game this afternoon.
Worcester, MA --- The end of the 2010 season was bittersweet for the Worcester State women’s soccer team. The Lancers won the MASCAC Tournament championship and advanced to the NCAAs for the fifth time — a terrific accomplishment — but WSU players and coaches left the field after a 1-0 first-round NCAA loss to Eastern Connecticut State believing it was a game they could have and should have won.

WSU, ranked ninth in the latest NSCAA New England Division III poll, have won nine of their last eight games.

Bridgewater State --- Bridgewater State blanked Worcester State for the first time this season in a 3-0 victory for the Bears in women's MASCAC soccer action this afternoon. Senior Angiezaka Sychtysz collected four stops for the Lancers in the setback.
Worcester, MA --- Sophomore Makayla Moran booted an unassisted 35-yard tally in the 43rd minute for the eventual game-winner as Worcester State defeated Keene State in non-conference women’s soccer action. The Lancers defeated the Owls for the first time since the 2007 season.
Framingham, MA --- Senior Danielle Clifford and freshman Therese Morss each netted a pair of goals apiece to help lead Worcester State to a 6-0 victory over Framingham State in MASCAC women's soccer action this afternoon. Fourth-year Sarah Rafferty and freshman Alyssa Sawyer both pitched in with the other markers for WSU.
Judging by her play this season for the Worcester State women's soccer team, one would never know that Brianne Beckman found the adjustment from high school to college challenging.
Plymouth, NH --- Sophomore Laura Maunsell scored her first goal of the season to help lead Worcester State to a 1-0 victory over Plymouth State in a non-conference women’s soccer match-up. The Lancers backs held the Panthers to just five shots, one on goal.
