Four Worcester State Women's Soccer Players Earn All-Conference Honors

WORCESTER, Mass. – Four Worcester State University women's soccer players have been named to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer All-Conference teams, as announced by the conference Wednesday (Nov. 2) afternoon.

 
 

Earning a spot on the First Team All-Conference is Worcester State's senior defender, Nicole Parenteau (Chicopee, Mass.) who has tallied one assist from the back field. Parenteau sits on the First Team with MASCAC women's soccer Player of the Year, Lauren DeSousa, and Alana Vincent of Bridgewater State, MASCAC women's soccer Rookie of the Year, Bella Eduardo, Caitlyn MacGregor, and Kate Matroni of Westfield State, Tess Gorman, Michaela Hyland and Angela Pallotta of Framingham State, Natalie Caney and Megan Richardson of MCLA, and Kaitlyn Curley of Salem State.

 

Sitting on the Second Team All-Conference is Worcester State's midfielder Briana Moreno (Lynn, Mass.), sophomore defender Justine Butler (Marlboro, Mass.), and senior goalkeeper Vanessa O'Donnell (Worcester, Mass.). Moreno tallied two goals and one assist in the regular season, Butler held down the defense, while O'Donnell completed the regular season with a perfect 1.000 conference save percentage. Joining them are Drew Guay and Courtney Pepin of Bridgewater State, Maddie Medina and Samantha Zina of Fitchburg State, and Allison Celia, Victoria Clancy, Talia Frazier and Devyn Malatesta of Salem State.
