No. 1 Worcester State Falls to No. 2 Westfield State in MASCAC Championship Game, 2-1November 05, 2017WORCESTER, Mass. – The Westfield State University women’s soccer team earned its sixth Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MACSAC) tournament championship in the past 10 seasons as the second seeded Owls used a strong second half to overcome a one-goal deficit and push past the first seeded Worcester State Lancers for the title. Casey Rotti (Rutland, Mass.) was tabbed the tournament MVP for scoring the equalizer goal in the matchup and also helping the Owls on defense preserve the championship win.
