WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester State University women's tennis team takes the No. 5 seed in the Little East Conference (LEC) women's tennis tournament as announced by the conference on Saturday (Oct. 15).
The Lancers concluded their regular season at 6-6 and came in tied with UMass Boston at 4-4 in the conference. However they earned the No. 5 spot as they held the tiebreaker over UMass Boston, defeating the Beacons 8-1 on Sept. 17.
The Lancers begin tournament play on Tuesday (Oct. 18) when they travel to Plymouth State for a 3:00 p.m. quarterfinal match.
