Worcester State took a narrow 2-1 lead into singles play after grabbing a pair of wins in doubles. At the number two position, junior Emma Collings (Marion, Mass.) and sophomore Charlotte Mullane (Sterling, Mass.) prevailed by a score of 8-5, while juniors Bekah Riley (Ellington, Conn.) and Monika Mularski (Auburn, Mass.) came out on top at third doubles by a score of 8-4.

The Cougars and Lancers split the six singles matches, which was all the visitors would need to secure the victory.
