MIDDLEBURY, VT- The Worcester State women's indoor track & field traveled to Middlebury for the Division III New England Championships on Sunday, registering an overall finish of 25th, ahead of MASCAC foe, Fitchburg State.
A total of five Lancers qualified for the Division III New England Championships throughout the course of the 2015-16 campaign.
Senior Francesca Casasanta (Milford, Mass.) tied at fourth place in the women's high jump with a distance of 1.58m. Classmate, Dalena Le (Worcester, Mass.) came in at 14th place in the women's triple jump with a distance of 10.38m.
Hanna Carson (Natick, Mass.) marked a ninth place finish in the shot put event. Carson recorded a top throw of 11.88m.
Molly Downing (Dedham, Mass.) came in at eleventh in the women's weight throw for a distance of 13.88m, while Elizabeth McCormack (Gloucester, Mass) finished 17th will a 12.88m throw.
