BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Worcester State University's freshman Asgerdur Jana Agustsdottir (Akureyri, Iceland) finished 16th in the high jump competition on Saturday (Mar. 10) at the NCAA Division III National Championships.
She logged a height of 1.60m (5' 3") at the national competition. Previously this season, she logged a personal record of 1.69m (5' 6.5") at the Division III New England Championships on Feb. 16 which marked her as eighth nationally in the event to qualify for nationals.
Agustsdottir was the only freshman to qualify for the NCAA DIII women's high jump competition.
