WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University's freshman Bernice Mensah (Worcester, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's outdoor track & field rookie of the week, as announced by the league Monday (Apr. 16) afternoon.
This past weekend at the Gerry Gravel Classic, hosted by Westfield State, Mensah earned first place in the triple jump (11.12m/36' 5.75"), second place in the 200 meter dash (27.23) and third place in the 100 meter dash with a personal best time of 13.12
This upcoming weekend the team will travel to Springfield for the Springfield College Invitational.
