Mensah Earns Fifth Consecutive MASCAC Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week Award

WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State's Bernice Mensah (Worcester, Mass.) earned her fifth consecutive (sixth total) Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's outdoor track & field rookie of the week award following great performances at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships this past weekend.

 

Mensah took ninth place in the triple jump (11.32m/37' 1.75") and 16th place in the 100 meter dash with a personal best time of 12.47 at the NEICAAA's, hosted by Dartmouth College. She also ran a leg in the 4x100 meter relay that came in 15th place (49.80).

 

This upcoming week, the Lancers will attend the MIT Last Chance Meet.
