Women's Volleyball to Host Annual Orange Out for Leukemia & Lymphoma Awareness

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcester State University women's volleyball team will host its annual "Orange Out" match on Saturday, September 21 when Western New England University and Wheaton College visit for a tri-match at John P. Brissette Court.

The third annual charity match is held in honor of Maddie Credit, the mother of Worcester State head coach Bernie Chase, who passed away of leukemia in 2016.

T-shirts, bracelets, pins, and food will be available for purchase at the match, as well as a 50/50 raffle and themed raffle baskets. All proceeds from the match will go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. For more information on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, please visit their website at LLS.org.

"I am extremely proud of our team for hosting this event," said Chase. "The amount of effort our players put into it is a testament to their character."

Fans attending the tri-match are encouraged to wear orange in support of leukemia and lymphoma awareness.
